Introduction

Welcome to my blog!

To start off, my name is Landy, I am expecting my first baby in early September of 2014.  My spouse is a police officer in British Columbia Canada and I work for the City.

Our lives have been crazy hectic, fun, and filled with challenges. To fill you in on what you've missed:
--> In April 2013, Patrick and I moved in together and spent the whole summer driving across Canada (yes, you read that right - driving - thousands and thousands of kilometers).  Spending 8-12 hours locked in a vehicle together everyday for weeks is something that will definitely make or break any new relationship! Ours withstood that test, mind you, barely. 
--> In November 2013 we adopted a 5 week old Border Collie/Great Pyrenees puppy "Bailey".  She's the light of my world; so loving, gentle, and smart. We couldn't ask for a better puppy, Bailey has been exceptionally easy to train! 
--> In December we found out Patrick's job was offering him a transfer to a new town 9 hours away from my current hometown, but that soon came to a screeching halt when we discovered I was pregnant! We chose to stay here so I could be near my family and friends. Will be nice to have the help when the little one arrives.
--> Then, in January 2014, we decided to get married before baby shows up, guess our reasoning was that we'd been talking about it forever but now our old fashioned mentalities kicked in and we wanted to make sure that the baby was born in wed-lock... Patrick purchased my engagement ring and purposed... of course I said "yes!"
